DeSalvatore could provide offensive boost for Bisons soccer
Several incoming players could give the Lipscomb Bisons an offensive boost this season.

One of those newcomers near the top of the list for Bisons’ coach Charles Morrow will be Nick DeSalvatore, a forward from Brentwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn. DeSalvatore was a team captain for Brentwood High this season.

As a junior he led Brentwood High with 20 goals and earned Tennessee Soccer Coaches and Tennessee Sports Writers Association First Team All-State honors. He was the second leading scorer on the team as a freshman with 16 goals and as a sophomore.

DeSalvatore, 5-foot-11, 170 pounds is known for his speed on the field. According to at least one report, his color choice of the shoes he will wear in games during the season has been of major concern to his teammates and friends.

In 2008 Brentwood High was the State Champion and also the National Champion.

The Bruins finished second in the state in 2009.

DeSalvatore was an All-Mid-State selection in 2007, 2008 and 2009. He was also an All-District pick in 2008 and 2009. He was selected as a “Future Star” in 2004 by the Brentwood Soccer Club.

His parents are Victoria and Gino DeSalvatore.
