LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Lipscomb men’s soccer team went on the road Wednesday night to take on Conference USA foe Kentucky in exhibition play and came away with a 4-0 loss at the Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex.
Kentucky jumped out in front early, scoring its first goal in the fifth minute of the match off the foot of Napo Matsoso before Kristoffer Tollefsen scored 10 minutes later to make it 2-0.
In the second half Noah Hutchins added the third goal for the Wildcats in the 48th minute off an assist from Matsoso, while the final blow came off the foot of Andrew McKelvey in the 69th minute. Kentucky held a 17-5 edge in total shots and an 8-2 advantage in shots on goal on the night.
