Men's soccer adds two transfers

NASHVILLE - The Lipscomb men’s soccer team and head coach Charles Morrow have announced the addition of two transfers on Tuesday.

Yann Kouemi and Ethan Lee will be joining the Bisons roster this spring, with Kouemi transferring from Mount St. Mary’s and Lee coming from Xavier.

Kouemi was the Mountaineers leading scorer in 2019 with nine goals in 17 games, of which he started 15. He also had their highest point total with 18. Kouemi, who also scored a goal in 14 appearances and 11 starts as a freshman, hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The incoming junior is expected to slot in as a forward for the Bisons, providing the Purple and Gold with a goal-scoring punch.

Lee comes to Nashville after redshirting his freshman season with the Musketeers and then suiting up in two games last season. The defensive midfielder, a Carmel, Indiana native, is a versatile player and will be expected to play in a variety of roles with the Bisons.

The Bisons will begin spring in almost exactly one month with a match vs Cumberland on Feb. 15 at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex.
