2013 (Junior): Named to the A-Sun Academic All-Conference Team for the second straight season...Named to the Hyatt Place Select Lipscomb Invitational and the Mafiaoza's Belmont Invitational All-Tournament Teams...Played in and started 19 games...Helped anchor a defense that allowed a school NCAA record 20 goals including a school record seven shutouts...Attempted 16 shots placing six on goal...Assisted on the game-winning goal at USC Upstate...

2012 (Sophomore): Named to the A-Sun Academic All-Conference Team… Named to Mafiaoza’s Belmont Invitational All-Tournament Team… Played in and started all 20 games… Attempted 15 shots placing eight on goal… Notched an assist in upset win over Florida Gulf Coast… Played every minute of every game until receiving a red card in final game of season…

2011 (Freshman): Appeared in nine matches, starting three... Started the first two games of the season against Georgia State (Aug. 26) and Memphis (Aug. 28)... Played a season-high 87 minutes against the Panthers... Played 80 minutes off the bench against Xavier (Sep. 4)... Took shots against Xavier and VMI (Sep. 9)... Made season's final start against Eastern Illinois (Sep. 22), where he played 57 minutes.

High School: Played for Ryan Estabrook at Geneva Community High School... All-State in 2010... All-Conference and academic All-Conference in 2009 and 2010... Scored 28 goals during his high school career... Played for Mark MacKinnon on the Campton United 92 club squad... As a Disney U17 All-Star in 2009, he attended the Chelsea Training Academy in London... Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Thad and Teresa Johnson... Father was an F-16 Air Force fighter pilot... Has three siblings: Ben, Nick and Natalie... Plays piano... Plans to major in engineering... Chose Lipscomb because of its Division I soccer program and engineering educational opportunities.
