NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Lipscomb men’s tennis will be facing Tennessee Tech on Friday at home.
Matches will begin at 7 p.m. at Richland tennis facility.
“I feel good with where the guys are right now,” Mario Hernandez, Lipscomb’s men’s tennis coach said. “The past two weeks have really been good for us as a team in the way we have gone about training to be tougher and be relentless on each point.”
Already depleted due to injuries, the Bisons will be even shorter this week with the loss of David Salazar to an injury.
“We will be down one singles and doubles match already because of David’s injury which means we have no room for error,” Hernandez said. “But I think that has helped us to be more disciplined and focused.”
The Bisons are 1-4 this season.
Hernandez is not discouraged by the setbacks.
“Time to go out and battle,” Hernandez said.
