NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The Lipscomb men’s tennis team has made improvements throughout its fall season, and this weekend offers the Bisons one more crack at outside competition before the end of the calendar year.
Alejandro Manzanares, Daniel Cardenas, George Wong and Pedro Uribe will make the trip to Birmingham to participate in the 2017 CCB Collegiate Invitational. Manzanares will compete in the top singles division – the Crimson Draw – and he will team with Cardenas in doubles play. Wong and Uribe represent Lipscomb’s other doubles pairing.
An interesting wrinkle to the tournament is that it will be played on a clay surface, rather than the hard courts the Bisons usually play and practice on.
The 12-team tournament will begin at 9 a.m. each day.
