Men's Tennis gears up for Middle Tennessee's Short/LaLance Shootout

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Lipscomb men's tennis team is set to make the trip down I-24 to Murfreesboro this weekend to take part in Middle Tennessee’s Short/LaLance Shootout.

The Bisons will go up against Belmont, Memphis and MT over Friday and Saturday. The event will get under way at the Adams Tennis Complex at 10 a.m.

The tourney will be the third of the fall season for Lipscomb, after competing at Georgia and Vanderbilt earlier in the month.

Two weeks ago at the Commodore Scramble, the Bisons finished 8-8 in singles play and 3-5 in doubles.

Sophomore Pedro Uribe led the team after going 3-1 in singles before teaming up with Francesco Tacconi to get a doubles win (6-1).
