Team Building and Leadership Development

Tabetha Taylor's passion for Cross Country and Track starts with inspiring teams to perform in excellence and dominate through a positive team culture.

She uses the same skills taught to Fortune 500 companies to create one of the most unique team environments in the nation in collegiate athletics. Lipscomb University Cross Country and Track & Field athletes are given extensive training in team building, leadership and adapting to change.

These skills give LU XC and Track a huge environmental and performance advantage. They also give Lipscomb athletes a tremendous advantage in their post-collegiate careers, as they have developed unique skills that are essential for success to a level far greater than their peers across the nation.

With Tabetha's guidance Lipscomb has built a team culture that supports trust, ownership, service to others, and embracing change. As the Team Development and Leadership Coach for XC and Track, Tabetha's focus is on creating a dynamic team environment, building skills that transfer far beyond the field of play. Her specialty is helping athletes adjust to college and team life by building leaders and athletes that seek out and embrace change and a coachable attitude and spirit.

Tabetha holds a unique role, that few Division I universities have. Not only does Tabetha posses the technical knowledge of the sport, through 9 years of collegiate coaching experience and 25 years of involvement, but she also brings real world executive experience from her leadership roles and global executive positions in large companies such as Starbucks Coffee Company, Boeing Employees Credit Union, Tribune Media Services and Cox Automotive, a 6 billion dollar organizations which owns AutoTrader, Kelly Bluebook and Manheim a global auto remarketing company.  Today, Tabetha is the Co-Founder and Chief Capability Officer for Limitless Capability a consulting firm, specializing in employee engagement and talent development.

She is an accomplished public speaker and expert in her field, presenting at many conventions and associations.

Tabetha holds credentials in Learning and Development from the University of Washington, Professional Coaching from the Academy for Coach Training, Return on Investment from the Phillips ROI Institute and is a credential Organizational Development Professional.

She was the assistant coach for the 2002 Northwest University team that won the NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championship.

Tabetha has been married to Bill for over 30+ years.  They have two amazing daughters, two horses and a love for travel, family and the mountains.
