Lipscomb Bisons senior Ryan Chastain finished third in the Drake Relays 10,000m run Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa.

His time of 30:50.17 broke Max Russell's Lipscomb school record of 31:00.00 set in 1982. It is Ryan's 10th different school record.

Coach Bill Taylor said that Jeff Musick had a tough day. Musick finished 17th in the 10,000m run in a time of 33:35.37. That was almost two minutes slower than his qualifying time set earlier this season.
