The women's team had the highest GPA in the nation, while the men came in fifth. In addition to the top five rankings, five Bisons earned Academic All-American status.
Dillon Seigenthaler's first year as head coach of The Ensworth School's girl's high school track team was a successful one. He was awarded "Girls High School Track Coach of the Year" by the Tennessean newspaper. He spent some time this week talking to Lipscombsports.com.
Lipscomb cross country and track and field have added Jenny Randolph and Tim Muller to the staff as assistant coaches. Randolph has been promoted from graduate assistant, a position she has held the last four years, to a full-time assistant coach position. Muller ran with the cross country from 2009 to 2014.
Lipscomb’s Gemikal Prude and Madi Talbert competed in the 2015 Outdoor NCAA Division I Track and Field National Championships on Thursday and Friday in Eugene, Oregon.
Andy Jordan (red plaid shirt) was looking for a Christian college to finish his education and he left California for Lipscomb University. While he was here he ran track. He still keeps up with the track program and has been especially impressed with the work of Bill Taylor, Lipscomb's director of cross country and track and field. For the third time in their prolific careers, Gemikal Prude and Madi Talbert will be competing for a National Championship this week in Eugene, Oregon. The NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships take place from June 10-13 at the University of Oregon’s campus.

On day two of the NCAA Division I East Region Prelims two Bisons earned spots in the NCAA Division I National Championships thanks to stellar performances. Juniors Gemikal Prude and Madi Tabert both qualified for the Nationals.
