MACON, Ga. - For the fourth time in his career, and second time this season, Gemikal Prude has been named the Atlantic Sun Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Prude reached a season-best height of 2.17m in the high jump at the Tennessee Relays over the weekend, propelling himself to second in a field of 21 jumpers.
The redshirt-junior currently ranks first in the A-Sun, fourth in the East Region and 11th in the nation for the event.
The Florida native took home an A-Sun Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor earlier this season, and was named all-conference for his outdoor feats last season.
Lipscomb track and field will be back in action for a pair of meets this weekend.
