NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb track and field squad is set for a par of events again this weekend, as the Bisons will be competing in the Bulldog Open and the Music City Invitational.

The majority of the Bisons will be headed to Birmingham, Alabama for the Bulldog Open, hosted by Samford.

The Open will kick off on Friday at 7 p.m., and Saturday at 8 a.m. and will feature 31 programs including Belmont, Jacksonville, Austin Peay, Murray State, Tennessee Tech, and Georgia State.

Five Bisons (Jonathan Imes, Jonathan Schwind, Courtney Brenner, Zach Israel, and Ryan Speer) will be staying in town for the Music City Invite at Vanderbilt.

The Invite will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and continue on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. featuring schools such as Mississippi State, Michigan State, Memphis, Ole Miss, Cincinnati, and Western Kentucky.
