Coach Buford Williams is entering his third year directing the long, triple, and high Jumps at Lipscomb University.

In his short time here at Lipscomb, Williams has already coached several all-conference jumpers and NCAA regional qualifiers.

Williams is a former Ohio Valley Conference champion and NCAA National Championship qualifier for Tennessee State University in the long jump. While at TSU, Williams was a five-time OVC Champion in the long and high jumps. He was twice named OVC Male Athlete of the Meet at the Championships.

Williams graduated from TSU with a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2008 and is pursuing his Masters Degree in Education here at Lipscomb. Williams is a USATF level 1 certified coach.
