2013 Track and Field: Finished fourth with a time of 3:21.31s in the 4x4 at the ETSU Niswonger Invitational 2013... His 4x4 final time of 3:24.14s at the TSU Invite earned him second place in the competition... Took home fifth at the Atlantic Sun Indoor Championships in the 4x4 with a time 3:24.19... Earned a fifth-place finish at the Vanderbilt Black and Gold Meet in the 4x1 finishing in 43.29s... At the Margaret Simmons Invitational he captured first place in the 4x1 crossing the line in 44.21s while also placing second in the 400m finishing in 50.93s... Snagged first place at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships with his performance in the 4x4 with a final time of 3:14.76s.

2012 Track and Field: Competed in his first meet representing Lipscomb at the MTSU Christmas Invitational where he placed fourth in the 4x400 yards finishing in 3:29.12s... He also set his personal best in the 55m crossing the line in 6.70s... Placed fifth at the Tennessee State Invitational in the 400m with a final time of 52.75s... Awarded second place at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship for his performance in the 4x4 with a time of 3:19.28s where he also set his personal best in the 60m with a time of 7.27s... Posted a third-place time in the 4x1 finishing the race in 42.30s at the Rhodes Open... Competed at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships where he took home first in the 4x4 with a time of 3:13.97 and third in the 4x1 with a time of 41.01s.

Prep: Ran sprints for Brent Masingal at McMinn Central High School... MVP of the track team from 2008-11... Region champion in the 400m dash his senior year... In addition to four years of track competition, also played football for two seasons and ran cross country for one... Class salutatorian.

Personal: Son of Jerry and Beth Smith... Two sisters (Ashleye and Kendall) and one brother (Wes)... Twin brother of Kendall... Plans to major in pre-law... Chose Lipscomb because of the amazing campus and coaching staff... Goal is to one day be in the Secret Service.
