The National Bison Club (NBC) is the driving force behind Lipscomb’s continued growth in athletics, and it is responsible for a large percentage of the support for the student-athletes participating in Lipscomb University’s 17 NCAA Division I athletic programs. The contributions through the NBC help Lipscomb to provide each student-athlete a first-class educational experience, to ensure that each student-athlete will have the opportunity to excel in the classroom and on the field of play, and to equip Lipscomb Athletics with all of the resources needed for its coaches and student-athletes to be successful.

The motto for Lipscomb’s National Bison Club is “Be a Bison for Life.” The NBC is a place where members begin their relationship at the earliest of ages when they become a member of the Baby Bisons. As children grow they soon may join the Junior Bison Club, and once on campus, Lipscomb University students experience the excitement of Lipscomb athletics by their participation in the student fan club, the LUnatics.

Throughout the year, NBC Members have a variety of opportunities to gather for networking and socializing opportunities. The Fastbreak Club, Jim Wood Golden Bison and Forehand and Friends Luncheons are just a few of the NBC activities that take place. The NBC is also home to one of the country's premier women's support groups as the BFF (Bison Fans Forever) Women's Club serves as one of the cornerstone groups of the NBC. This group of dedicated women display a Love for Lipscomb, Love for Sports and Love for having a positive impact on Lipscomb students.These women have social gatherings that allow members a chance to get to know the Lipscomb coaches, student-athletes and parents.

When you make a donation to the NBC, you assist in supporting Lipscomb by helping to provide a quality educational experience in an environment that fosters Christian character development all along the way. As the NBC continues to grow, it helps to promote school pride among faculty, staff, alumni, current students and fans of the university everywhere. In addition, a strong National Bison Club helps to make inroads in new communities perhaps just now coming to realize all that Lipscomb has to offer. The NBC's grass-roots campaign is built upon the cornerstone that says real growth comes one fan at a time, and that it is developed through a membership process emphasizing contact, connection and cultivation of relationships.
