"Mike is an excellent student-athlete for Lipscomb University," said Sanderson. "He will excel both on and off of the court. Besides being a very good student, he is very skilled and athletic. We are excited about Mike's future here."

Lusk was named first team All-County in 2005 and won the 2005 Naismith Award from the Atlanta Tip-Off Club. He was also an honorable mention All-State selection.

"Mike has been the cornerstone of the program for the past two years," Gorsuch said. "He has really worked hard to develop into a total player."
Lusk played on the varsity team all four years at North Cobb. He scored 1,000 points in his high school career.
"I know Mike is excited about attending Lipscomb, and I believe he will be an asset to the university both as a student and an athlete," said Gorsuch.
