Lipscomb track and field coach Clay Nicks has announced the signing of Jill Dyer for the Lady Bisons track and field team.
Dyer is from Pittstown, N.J., but competed in track in Germany where she attended the Frankfurt International School. She was the three-time DoDDs Central European 800-meters champion and a three-time DoDDs 800 x 400 meter Division I champion. She was named MVP of her school track team for four years and was the school's Female Athlete of the Year as a senior.
"I wanted to attend a small, Christian university in a big city and also attend a school where I could fit in academically, so Lipscomb seemed to fit perfectly for me," Dyer said.
She is the daughter of Pamela Jo and Steven Dyer.
