The 2006 Fall debut of the Lipscomb men's golf team has been delay after cancellation of the EKU Colonel Classic hosted by Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Ky.

The first round was called off Friday due to heavy rains. An attempt to start play Saturday also was stopped by rain.

There has been no decision on whether the tournament will be rescheduled.

The next tournament for the Bisons is the Mission Inn Collegiate Classic at Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla., starting Oct. 5.
