Joe McArdle from Birmingham, England has signed to play tennis at Lipscomb University.

McArdle,6-foot-2, was captain of his tennis team. He won the U-18 County Closed Tennis Tournament in 2006 and the U-21 County Closed Tennis Tournament in 2007.

He won an award for "Sporting Excellence" in 2006 from the Dudley Schools Sports Association.

He is undecided on his major.

His parents are Kate and Tom McArdle. He has three brothers, Ben (24), Jack (22) and Sam (20).
