Final Stats

Lipscomb's Lady Bisons lost 3-0 in matches with San Diego State and the University of Pennsylvania to close out the Holiday Inn Buena Park Fullerton Classic Sautrday.

The match scores against San Diego State were 30-20, 30-16 and 30-25.

Jessica Turner made 11 kills to lead the Lady Bisons. Lindsey Rutherford led with 15 digs. San Diego State raised its record to 6-6.

In the final match with Penn the Lady Bisons lost 30-18, 30-27 and 30-23.

Ashley Cox was the only Lady Bison in double figures in kills with 10.

Ann Mullins posted a match-high 17 digs. Jessica Turner finished with 16. Turner also had a pair of service aces.Alex Scruggs blocked two shots.

Turner was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Lady Bisons are 3-10. Penn is 1-5.
