Everyone understands that basketball season is a hectic time for a college coach. It’s easy to understand what keeps us busy during the months of November through March-practices, games, road trips, watching film, etc. However, most people don’t know what goes on in the life of a coach during the rest of the year. I’ve had many friends ask, “Now that the season is over, what are you going to do with all your free time?”  I thought I would provide some insight into some of the things that we must do to keep our programs running when we aren’t playing games. Here’s a month-by-month look at the life of a college basketball coach.
