Coming off their second Atlantic Sun conference win of the season, the Lady Bisons fell 7-0 to Campbell University on Saturday.
The loss was the fourth time the Lady Bisons have been shut out this season and dropped their record to 2-7.
The Camels swept the doubles point to put the Lady Bisons at a 1-0 deficit to open the match.
Senior Kara Jackson and freshman Alyssa Bellini were bageled at No. 1 by Lisa Sutton and Dominek Wallaart 8-0. At No. 2, juniors Danielle Hansen and Elizabeth Keevil only posted one game against Karolina Chernaya and Borislava Nikolova in an 8-1 loss.
At No. 3, senior Julianne McMeen and sophomore Carlina Jow posted the Lady Bisons’ best doubles score with an 8-4 loss to Lourdes Ros and Natasha Afridi.
The Lady Bisons found no better luck in singles play, dropping all six of their matches.
Jackson fell at No. 1 to Sutton 6-2, 6-0, while Keevil lost to Chernaya 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2.
Bellini was the only Lady Bison to even take her match to the third set. After dominating the first set at No. 3, Bellini fell to Nikolova 1-6, 6-2, 6-3.
At No. 4, Hansen lost to Heather Robinson 6-3, 6-3, and McMeen fell 6-1, 6-2 to Afridi. At No. 5, Jow fell to Anais Gomar 6-3, 6-2.
The Lady Bisons return to Nashville for a week of practice before hosting A-Sun rival Belmont in the Battle of the Boulevard on Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m. at the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.
