NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Lipscomb men’s soccer player Omar Djabi has been tabbed as the No. 84 best player in the nation in soccer by Top Drawer Soccer.

After earning an All-Atlantic Sun second team selection in his sophomore season, Djabi has broken out in a big way for his junior campaign. He has been named A-Sun Player of the Week twice in 2013.

Djabi leads the A-Sun and is 20th in the country with eight goals scored.  Djabi’s career total is now 11, which ranks third in Lipscomb history for an individual career.

Djabi is four scores from tying the school’s single-season record of 12 set by Garret Pettis 2008.

Over the weekend, Djabi added an assists to his credit. He now has three on the year.

On the top-100 list, Djabi is one of four Atlantic Sun players listed. Aaron Guillen of Florida Gulf Coast is the highest at No. 69.
