Wednesday, August 31, 2005 02/17/2005 Senior Lipscomb wing player Courtney Boynton was named to the 2005 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District District IV University Division women's basketball team. District IV includes Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Alabama.
Boynton, a Hendersonville native, is the first women's basketball player to be named to the Academic All-District Team which is overseen by the College Sports Information Directors (CoSIDA).
