The Bisons got plenty of offense on Thursday, May 15, but it was not quite enough as Campbell defeated Lipscomb in 11-8 in game one of the series.
However, the Camels got those two runs back and more in the third inning, plating seven runs against Bisons' starter Rex Brothers. In 3.2 innings, Brothers gave up seven runs, six earned, on five hits, while striking out three.
The Bisons pulled to within 7-4 in the sixth, plating a run on a Camel's error, and another on an RBI single by Ben Williams.
McClurg was credited with the loss to drop to 6-5 on the season. With the loss, the Bisons dropped to 27-26, and 18-13 in the conference.
