The Bisons got plenty of offense on Thursday, May 15, but it was not quite enough as Campbell defeated Lipscomb in 11-8 in game one of the series.

The Bisons struck first, plating a run in the second on an RBI single by Branden Cadavid and another run in the third on a solo homerun by Caleb Joseph.

However, the Camels got those two runs back and more in the third inning, plating seven runs against Bisons' starter Rex Brothers. In 3.2 innings, Brothers gave up seven runs, six earned, on five hits, while striking out three.

The Bisons pulled to within 7-4 in the sixth, plating a run on a Camel's error, and another on an RBI single by Ben Williams.

After the Camels scored a run in the bottom of the inning, the Bisons plated three more runs in the seventh; one on a single by Blake Bratcher and two more on a single by Ryan Wilkins.

Lipscomb finally tied the game up in the eighth on an RBI single by Allen Bolden, but a three run bottom of the inning against Bisons' reliever, Brandon McClurg, gave the Camel's the win.

McClurg was credited with the loss to drop to 6-5 on the season. With the loss, the Bisons dropped to 27-26, and 18-13 in the conference.
