Sunday, October 25, 2009 Unfortunately for Lipscomb, this record is one that will have to wait. After two full halves, one overtime period of ten minutes, and 9 minutes and thirty-three seconds of the second overtime period, the Lady Bisons’ long fight ended when Jacksonville put the winning goal in the net. With the 1-0 loss today, the Lady Bisons fall to 4-14 overall and 2-8 in the conference. Jacksonville, who has clinched the No. 4 seed for the tournament, is now 9-6-4 overall and 6-1-4 in the A-Sun. So now, with hope of a possibility to go to the tournament gone, the Lady Bisons have one thing on their mind: getting that fifth season win. The Lady Bisons have one chance left to break the program win record when they take on Tennessee Tech at 7 p.m. at home in their last match of the season. |
