The Lipscomb volleyball program was recognized recently by PrepVolleyball.com for "High Honorable Mention" for its 2011 recruiting class. Lipscomb was the only program recognized from the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Sophia “Sophie” Kellerman, Jewell Dobson, Jordan Huston, Megan Stout and Lauren Ford are expected to make a quick impact on the Lady Bisons, winners of the both the Atlantic Sun regular season and tournament championships for the past two seasons.

Additionally the Lady Bisons have added Abby Fay for this fall. Fay enrolled in Lipscomb's MBA program after playing for Kansas State, a perennial volleyball power in the Big 12.
