With the summer wood bat league’s All-Star games in full swing, a pair of Lipscomb baseball standouts has been named to their league’s respective All-Star squads. Rising senior Connor Sinclair has been named to the Coastal Plain League’s National Team All-Star squad, while rising junior southpaw Chris Nunn was selected to the Prospect League’s West Division All-Star team.
Nunn has been a solid 3-1 in eight starts for the Terre Haute Rex. The Memphis native enters the All-Star break with a 3.41 ERA, while holding his opponents to a .256 batting average at the dish. Sinclair has been busy this summer as well holding CPL batters to a .231 mark at the plate. The Wichita, Kan., native boasts a 2.31 ERA, a mark that is 15th best in the league, with the Outer Banks Daredevils.
The Pioneer League All-Star game takes place on Wednesday, July 13th in Beckley, W. Va., while the Coastal Plain League All-Star contest happens July 18th in Fayetteville, N.C.
