NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After sweeping Belmont to earn the 2011 Atlantic Sun Tournament Championship on Saturday afternoon, the Lipscomb volleyball team is set to host a “NCAA Tournament Selection Show” party on Sunday, Nov. 29 at 4:30 p.m. in the Shamblin Theater at the Bennett Campus Center.

All Lipscomb students, alumni, family and friends are invited to the event that will feature a 2011 highlight video, a Q&A with current players and free McDougal’s Chicken.

“This is our fourth time and I will be equally excited come Sunday morning knowing that this is what we’ve been working for,” said Lipscomb head coach Brandon Rosenthal.  “It never gets old. You’re thinking about where you’re going to be sent and trying to predict the tournament field.

“We’d love to have as many students, faculty, staff, friends and family out as possible.  It should be a great time.”

The Lady Bisons advance to the 2011 NCAA Tournament as the representatives from the A-Sun.  Lipscomb will learn its seeding and opponent at 5 p.m. during the show on ESPNU.

Lipscomb’s three previous trips to the NCAA postseason have all been to the state of Ohio with two jaunts to the University of Dayton and one journey to Ohio State University for regional competition.
