With 187 student-athletes earning a 3.0 GPA or better during the 2011-12 academic year, Lipscomb leads the A-Sun in All-Academic honorees. The Bison and Lady Bisons placed better than 74 percent of student-athletes on the All-Academic registry.

Incoming freshman John Ross Glover from University School of Jackson (TN) was named to the 2012 PARADE All-America basketball team. Glover, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 30.7 points and 7.2 rebounds as a senior. He was one of 40 senior from across the country honored by the weekly magazine.
