CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.-The Lipscomb men's golf team continues to play strong in the F&M Bank Austin Peay State University Intercollegiate taking second place after the second round. The men are playing a consistent field carding a combined 289 for both rounds.
Blanton Farmer and Ryan Terry led the Bisons, tied for 6th place with combined scores of 142. Farmer improved his play in the second round bringing in a 70, 2-under par after his first round 72. Terry is playing steady carding a 71, 1-under par for both rounds.
Alex Cox improved his score with a 72 in the second round compared to a 75. Dustin Wilder struggled from his first round 71 down to an 82. Nathan Mueting also shows improvement from a round one 82 to a 76.
The F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate is being held at the Links at Novadell in Hopkinsville, Ky., a par-72 course covering 7,132 yards. The Bisons will continue play tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.
