NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After a three-game Atlantic Sun Conference road swing, the Lipscomb men’s basketball returns home on Thursday night hosting league foe Kennesaw State at 6:30 p.m. at Allen Arena on ESPN3.

Lipscomb senior guard Deonte Alexander has overtaken the scoring lead for the Bisons averaging 12.3 points per game after a week that saw the veteran garner Tennessee Sports Writers Association Player of the Week honors.  Alexander scored a career-high 29 points in the Bisons overtime win over Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday night before scoring 23 points at Stetson on Saturday afternoon.

Alexander surpassed freshman center Stephen Hurt, who is averaging 11.8 points per game, for the scoring lead.

The Owls are led by Markeith Cummings, who leads the Atlantic Sun in scoring with a 17.7 points per game average.   The senior is scoring at an even higher 18.3 points per game clip in league play.

The contest will air exclusively on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.  To purchase tickets visit http://www.BeHerdLU.com or call 615-966-4373.
