NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After a week of taking on a pair of ranked opponents, the Lipscomb baseball team continues road action against in-state foe Austin Peay on Tuesday night in Clarksville at 6 p.m.

The Governors are one of the hottest teams in the country boasting a 25-5 record including a 3-1, ninth-inning win over the Bisons (10-19) last month at Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium.

Lipscomb redshirt junior Jacob Knott is slated to take the hill against Austin Peay making his seventh start of the season. The righty enters the contest with a 1-3 record and a 5.13 ERA.  Knott is scheduled to go up against APSU junior southpaw Zach Hall, who is 2-1 with a 7.09 ERA.

The Bisons look to snap a nine-game skid against the Governors that dates back to 2009.

Following the road trip against Austin Peay, Lipscomb returns home this weekend to take on Atlantic Sun Conference foe USC Upstate for a three-game set at Dugan Field that begins on Friday.
