NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lipscomb women’s soccer team will enter the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships as the No. 6 seed on Saturday night against Kennesaw State.
The Lady Bisons qualified for the conference tournament for the first time in school history after defeating USC Upstate 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Lipscomb finished the regular season setting new marks for wins (6) in a season and most wins in the A-Sun (3).
The No. 1 seed and regular season champion is Florida Gulf Coast. The Eagles will host the semifinal and final rounds of the tournament action. The rest of the tournament is seeded: No. 2 Jacksonville, No. 3 Kennesaw State, No. 4 Mercer and No. 5 Stetson.
The Lady Bisons are scheduled for a 6 p.m. kickoff in Kennesaw, Ga., at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
