The Lipscomb softball team fell short in its quest to claim the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship on Saturday. The Lady Bisons fell 4-1 and 7-5 to USC Upstate in the championship round.
The Lipscomb softball team plays in the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship Saturday at noon. The Lady Bisons play USC Upstate for the right to go to the NCAA Tournament.
The Lipscomb softball team advances to the the Atlantic Sun Tournament Championship Saturday at noon after Gracey Aguirre's two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give the Lady Bisons a 4-2 win over USC Upstate.
After a walk-off home run by Mickey Bell last night in the eight inning, the Lipscomb softball team scored two runs in the eight inning to win 3-1 over No. 1 seed North Florida. The Lady Bisons will play No. 2 USC Upstate at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
Leading off the eighth inning Mickey Bell blasted a walk-off home run to right center to give the Lipscomb Lady Bisons a 5-4 win over Kennesaw State Wednesday night in the first day of the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship at Draper Diamond.
