Lipscomb Lady Bisons coach Kristin Peck made the announcement Saturday afternoon.
"There is entirely too much standing water in our outfield and areas surrounding the tarp," said Peck. "Ultimately, the field would not be playable even if the rain stops tonight."
The doubleheader with Middle Tennessee State will be played April 29 with the first game scheduled to start at 5 p.m. at Draper Diamond.
The Lady Bisons next home game is Tuesday night at 6 when Southeastern Conference foe Auburn visits Draper Diamond for one game.
