Georgia capitalized on five singles, a double and a fielding error to push six runs across the plate in the sixth inning. Georgia scored its first run of the game in the fifth.

With one out in the fourth Breanna Thurman singled through the left side. Mollie Mitchell hit the first of her two doubles in the game. She sent this one to right center to score Thurman. Haley Elliott then singled up the middle to score Mitchell.
In the top of the sixth the Lady Bisons added one run. Thurman reached base on a walk. She scored when Mitchell slammed her second double, this time to left center.
The Lady Bisons went into the seventh inning trailing 7-3. They added one more run in the final frame. Bridgette Begle singled to right field. Whitney Kiihnl reached on a single to the pitcher. With two outs Thurman singled to right field to score Begle.
Kiihnl started the game for the Lady Bisons. She gave up nine hits and five earned runs. She struck out four and did not walk a batter.
J.J. Nelson pitched two-thirds of an inning and did not give up a hit or a run.
Thurman extended her hitting streak to four games, a career high.
Mitchell was the first Lady Bisons player to hit two doubles in a game this season. Mitchell and Thurman join Courtney Billington as the only Lady Bisons who have multi-hit games. Mitchell and Vanessa Medina are the only Lady Bisons with multi-RBI games.
The Lady Bisons finished the tournament with a 1-4 record.
