MACON, Ga. – Lipscomb left-hander Ashley Anderson allowed only four hits in 12 shutout innings in a pair of conference wins to claim Atlantic Sun Pitcher of the Week.
It is her first A-Sun weekly award.
Anderson threw 12 consecutive shutout innings en route to a pair of shutout wins at North Florida. She allowed only four hits in two games, tallying nine strikeouts with four walks in two games.
She stopped North Florida in five innings Saturday for a 9-0 win. Sunday she gave up only one hit in seven innings in a 7-0 victory.
She has a 0.98 earned run average. Anderson, a senior from Sharpsburg, Ga., remains undefeated at 6-0.
