Lipscomb softball coach Kristin Peck made one of the most productive recruiting trips of her short career signing twins Kellie Sirus and Kristie Sirus to play during the 2007 season for the Lady Bisons.

Kellie is a third baseman and catcher. Kristie is a shortstop and second baseman. They are from Sarasota, Fla. They both play for Sarasota High School.

Kristie has won the Sailor Award for best all-around player as a freshman. She won her team's pitching award as a junior. She is also a three-year varsity letter winner heading into her senior season. Last year she was an honorable mention All-Area player.

Kellie won the team's pitcher award as a freshman. She was named Offensive Player of the Year by her team as a junior. She was honorable mention All-Area in 2003 and 2005.

Both players are 5-foot-8. They both chose Lipscomb for "its Christian environment, strong academics and the opportunity to play Division I softball."

They are the daughters of JoAnne and Mike Sirus.
