Lady Bisons sign three-time Colorado All-State softball player

Lipscomb University softball coach Kristin Peck has announced the signing of three-time Colorado All-State player Abby Keese from Denver, Colo.

Keese, 5-foot-9, was All-State in 2003. 2004 and 2005 as a shortstop. She was All-Regional in 2003, 2004 and 2005. She was an All-District selection in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

She served as team captain of the softball team at J.K Mullen High School in 2003, 2004 and 2005. She was team MVP in 2002, 2004 and 2005. She was also named the school's "Offensive Player of the Year" in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Keese also lettered in basketball as a freshman in 2002 and in track in 2003. She was named a Gatorade Rookie of the Year in basketball in 2002.

Keese's goal is to become a college softball coach. She chose Lipscomb for the quality of the education offered and the solid foundation of the athletic program.

She is the daughter of Pam and Chris Keese. Her sister, Lindsey, played softball for Bethany College.
