Lipscomb's Lady Bisons continued their hot streak, sweeping Austin Peay 2-0 and 4-3 Tuesday night in Clarksville at Lady Govs Field.

The Lady Bisons have won 12 of their last 15 games, including eight of their last nine, extending their record to 21-16. Austin Peay fell to 16-15.

In game one freshman right-hander Christen Campbell pitched a complete game shutout, allowing six hits and one walk and striking out one. Campbell has won her last three decisions and is 13-6 overall. This was her third shutout and 16th complete game in 18 starts.

The Lady Bisons won the game with two runs in the fifth inning. Niki Bails was hit by a pitch. Jennifer Allsup then slammed a home run, her first of the season.

Lauren Dortwegt led the Lady Bisons with three hits.

In game two the Lady Bisons needed nine innings for the win.

In the ninth Niki Bails was placed on second base to start the inning. She moved to third on a sacrifice bunt by Jennifer Allsup. Bails scored what proved to be the game winning run when Kristie Sirus hit a sacrifice fly to left field.

Heather Collins and Kristie Sirus each had two hits, including a triple by Sirus. Abby Keese hit her ninth home run of the season.

Kim Jacobson pitched eight innings for the Lady Bisons. She scattered four hits and allowed one run. Christy Grisham relieved and gave up two runs, one earned, and walked one and struck out one.
