Final Stats

Nashville, Tenn. - The Lady Bisons took down the Akron Zips out of the Mid American Conference Saturday morning by a score of 7-1.

"We played well, It was good to see us come out and attack the ball early. We scored in the first inning which was good and we took it from there," said head coach Kristen Peck.

The Lady Bisons scored seven runs on seven hits to win the game. Shortstop Abby Keese went two for two with two doubles, two runs and one RBI.

"Abby Keese hit well for us today. It was great to have a consistent threat for us in the middle of the lineup," said Peck.

Second baseman Megan Rottler went two for four with one run, and pitcher Christen Campbell went one for three with a double and two RBI's

The Lady Bisons advance to 4-5 on the season.
