Neely named A-Sun Softball Player of the Week

College Sports Madness has named Lipscomb third baseman Paige Neely the Madness Atlantic Sun Softball Player of the Week for her exceptional performances during the past week’s action. 

Neely was instrumental in the Lady Bisons finishing the Getterman Classic at Baylor University with a 4-1 record. The Lady Bisons beat Iowa, Drake, No. 14-ranked Baylor and UAB.

Neely, a junior from Nashville, tied for first in the tournament in runs batted in with seven, hits with seven, total bases with 11 and sacrifice flies with two. 

She finished third in the tournament with a .467 batting average and tied for fourth with a .733 slugging percentage. She tied for second with two stolen bases.
