Softball moves to 28th in the latest RPI ratings

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Despite a 1-2 record this past weekend at Stetson the Lipscomb Lady Bisons have moved up to 28th in this week’s NCAA Division I RPI ratings.

It is the highest ranking in the history of the program besting last week’s No. 30 rating.

Nationally, as a team, the Lady Bisons are in the top 30 in two areas. They are 22nd in won-loss percentage (.761) and 28th in scoring (5.89).

Out of 289 teams ranked they are 45th in earned run average (2.40), 48th in doubles per game (1.43), 53rd in batting average (.303) and 65th in slugging percentage (.455).

Senior left-hander Ashley Anderson is 35th win earned run average (1.55), 41st in victories (17) and 48th in shutouts (five).

Third baseman Paige Neely is 13th in sacrifice flies with four.

Center field Brittany Elmore is 46th with in runs per game with .9.
