2013: NFCA Division I Scholar-Athlete…Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team…Red-shirt season due to injury…Played and started 16 games and batted .378….Hit five doubles, one triple and five home runs…Also had 14 RBI.
2012: All-Conference First-Teamer and Second-Team NFCA All-Region... Hit .381 with a school-record 18 home runs (which led the Atlantic Sun) and 45 RBI in addition to 43 runs scored... Led Lipscomb in multi-hit games (15) and multi-RBI games (13)... Also led the Lady Bisons with 14 stolen bases... In the top 100 nationally in the following categories: batting average (96th), home runs per game (0.33/g, 17th), RBI per game (0.82/g, 92nd), slugging percentage (.762, 33rd) and home runs (19th)... Fifth in the A-Sun in batting average, second in slugging, fourth in runs scored (43), fifth in hits (64), second in RBI and second in total bases (128)... Scored the game-winning run five times and drove in the game-winner on six occasions... Following hitless effort against Mississippi State, hit in 11 consecutive games from Feb. 11 (Alabama) to March 3 (Penn State)... Hit first home run in a Lipscomb uniform on Feb. 18 against Samford... Had first of team-high seven three-hit games on Feb. 24 against Wagner... Went 2-for-3 with a homer, a double and five RBI, including the game-winner, against MTSU (Feb. 25)... Did not strike out from March 7 (second game against IPFW) until March 30 (second game against UNF)... Hit two home runs in a 3-for-4, five-RBI effort against Alabama State (March 11)... Homered in both games of an April 21 doubleheader at Mercer; went 5-for-8 with three runs scored and seven RBI in the two games, including driving in the game-winning run in the second game... Went 2-for-3, including two solo home runs, in the Lady Bisons final game of 2012, against Kennesaw State.
At Auburn (2010-2011): Two-year starter for the Tigers... Started every game in the infield as a freshman, hitting .276 with three home runs and 17 RBI... Earned a spot on the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll... During her sophomore season, was third on the team in hitting (.303), second in runs scored (36) and tied for second in RBI (31).
Prep: Played for Lee Phillips at Goodpasture, winning the 2009 AA state title... Owns school record for home runs (44)... Three-time All-State selection... National Gatorade Tennessee Softball Player of the Year... EA Sports All-American... Under Armour All-American in 2009... Three year letterman in basketball, and lettered one year in soccer.
Personal: Daughter of Lipscomb alums Bill and Tracey Cartwright... Grandfather, Bill, played football at the University of Memphis... Has one sister, Mikayla... Plans to major in psychology... Chose Lipscomb because of the atmosphere it presents.
