2012: Appeared in 42 games, including 25 starts, primarily in left field as a defensive replacement or as a pinch-runner... Got first career hit, RBI and run against Wagner (Feb. 24); run was the game-winner... Also scored the game-winner against Eastern Michigan (March 10).

Prep: Played for Tonya Carlisle at Cherokee (Ga.) High School... All-state in 2009 and 2010... Set school's single-season RBI record (31) in 2009... High school squad was Region champions in 2008 and 2010, and 2007 squad was state runner-ups in Class 4A... Club team Vipers were 16U runner-ups at  ASA National championships... National Honor Society member and graduated top-five in her class.

Personal: Daughter of Brian Welch and Julia-Ann Stuart... Father is retired from the US Air Force... Has six younger siblings, ranging in ages from 1 to 15... Plans to major in communications in order to become an ESPN broadcaster.
