Junior middle blocker Alex Scruggs from Boyd-Buchanan High School in Chattanooga, Tenn., was named to the All-Tournament team at the Tiger Invitational volleyball tournament hosted by the University of Memphis.

Scruggs had 43 kills in 15 games in four matches. She posted highs of 20 kills and a .485 hitting percentage in a 3-1 loss to Southeast Missouri and 11 kills and a .391 hitting percentage in a 3-1 loss to Arkansas-Little Rock.

It was the second week in a row Scruggs has earned All-Tournament honors. She was named to the Kansas State Invitational All-Tournament team last week.
