NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Lipscomb volleyball team plays the final four matches of the spring schedule.
The Lady Bisons hit the road for the only time this spring traveling to Indianapolis, Ind., to compete in the sixth Annual Indy Collegiate Spring Invitational.
All four matches played in Indianapolis will be on Saturday. LU starts off with Purdue at 8:30 a.m., followed by Kent State at 10:30 a.m., Ball State at 11:30 a.m. and finishes with IUPUI at 1:30 p.m.
“It will give us a chance to get off campus and really go up against some top level competition to end our spring,” Lipscomb coach Brandon Rosenthal said. “With a couple of days left of our spring volleyball for us, the message to our girls is to continue to push and really get the most out of everything we’ve got here.”
The Lady Bisons had a busy day last Saturday playing Georgia, Southern Illinois and Tennessee Tech. With the spring schedule half gone, Rosenthal is impressed with the team’s blocking.
“Blocking is one of those things that we’ve focusedon a lot this spring,” Rosenthal said. “I’ve been pretty pleased with the progress.”
