Final Stats

The Lady Bisons volleyball team made the short trip across town to Tennessee State University, but had a long night.

After winning their last three matches in a row, the Lady Bisons fell 3-0 to TSU in a non-conference match by scores of 30-20, 30-21 and 30-27 Tuesday night. The Lady Bisons fell hehind in the early going in each game, but rallied each time. In game three they cut a seven-point deficit at 28-21 and trimmed it to only a two-point lead at 29-27 by TSU.

Ashley Cox led the Lady Bisons in kills with eight. Libero Ann Mullins made 14 digs, a match high.

Meesha Jackson led TSU with a match-high 14 kills. Kelly Davis recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs.

Katie Lippi added 13 digs and Erika Godbolt chipped in with 12.

The Lady Bisons are 9-13 overall. TSU is 14-10.
