Final Stats

It was case of seven being lucky for the Lady Bisons.

Tuesday night at the Maclellan Gym at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga they won their seventh straight match by a 3-2 score. They won the first game 30-28, lost the second game 30-23, won game three 30-22 , lost game four 30-26 and then held on for a 15-11 win in game five.

Junior outside hitter Sarah Snider had a season-high with 37 kills on a season-high 109 total attacks. She also finished with a .220 hitting percentage, two service aces and 16 digs.

This was Snider's 19th match in double figures in kills and her 16th match high.

Freshman middle blocker Alex Kelly finished with 11 kills, her seventh straight match in double figures.

Defensively, senior libero Ann Mullins led with a season-high and match-high 39 digs. Junior defensive specialist Jessica Turner also had 26 digs, both a season and career high and two service aces.

Freshman defensive specialist Brittany Simmons also had a career and season high in digs with 16. She added a season-and-career-high in service aces with three.

Senior defensive specialist Grace Gilmore chipped in with 11 digs and two service aces.

The Lady Bisons are 13-9 overall. Tennessee-Chattanooga is also 13-9.
